Gun Dog Instructor

I’m Mark, I joined the Leaps and Bounds team in August 2023 but have been working on and off with dogs for many years, rehabilitating some of the most aggressive cases. 

I work my Spaniel Benji on several of the local shoots as a beating dog, Benji is also one of our resident stooge dogs and helps in the rehabilitation of many of our behaviour cases.

I run several gun dog classes at Leaps and Bounds and also teach on a 121 level wether that be general obedience based training or gun dog. I have also been involved in many behaviour rehabilitation cases working on getting the dog comfortable and confident outside in real life situations.

I am also the resident handy man at Leaps and Bounds and if I am not working, or training with a client I can usually be found painting or building something for the dog school..

In my spare time I enjoy nothing more than being outside with the dogs, whether that be training or going for a walk.
