PACK WALKS
PUPPY PACK WALKS
Our puppy pack walks are a perfect way to introduce your pups to the big wide world and go for a walk with pups of a similar age.
During these sessions your puppy will have the opportunity to:
Teach to walk with other dogs nicely and under control
Develop their confidence around other pups of a similar age
Teach the puppy to develop respect for all other creatures they may encounter on a walk, such as horses, rabbits, birds etc.
Increase their confidence around vehicles (at a safe distance)
Exposing the puppies to different sights and sounds that they may encounter whilst out on a walk
Guide your puppy to make the correct choices in the big wide world
Our puppy pack walks are for pups from 12 weeks of age up to 1 year. The sessions usually last for 1 hour dependant on the puppies energy levels, we implement lots of breaks during the session.
FRIENDLY PACK WALKS
Our friendly pack walks are designed to give those friendly, sometimes over enthusiastic dogs the opportunity to join a group of other friendly dogs to work on the following:
Teach the dogs to walk nicely and under control whilst in close proximity to other dogs
Teach then to remain calm when they see another dog or people when outside
Help develop their confidence around other dogs of a similar age
Teach them to develop respect for all other creatures they may encounter on a walk, such as horses, rabbits, birds, etc.
Increase their confidence around vehicles (at a safe distance)
Expose the dog to different sights and sounds they may encounter when out for a walk
Guide your dog to make the correct choices in the big wide world
These walks are for dogs 6 months of age upwards, all dogs MUST BE FRIENDLY for this walk. The sessions usually last for 1 hour dependant on the dogs energy levels, we implement lots of breaks during the session.
GIVE ME SPACE PACK WALKS
Affectionately known as our Woofers Walks these pack walks are designed for our clients who are either in our Give Me Space classes or are having 121’s with one of our behaviourists.
These walks are designed for reactive dogs, who may be triggered by other dogs on sight, the movement of other dogs or other dogs coming into their personal space.
These pack walks are limited to small numbers to ensure that the dogs have plenty of space, the walks are designed to be steady and safe at all times to ensure both the handler and dog are comfortable and reactivity is kept to a minimum.
These walks have seen some amazing results with a lot of the dogs once engaged in the walk are able to walk side by side comfortably and contently.
These sessions really do show that hard work, patience and perseverance can ultimately improve the behaviour of your dog and reduce reactivity.
