REAL LIFE WORKSHOP

These sessions are designed to work specifically on working with your dog in natural environment. We will take you out for a natural walk around Bartlow Estate or Linton. During the walk, we will stop at mulitple stations where we will work on the following:

Lead work/long line/ off lead control and path work

Recalls on long lines away from distractions

Work on your response and timing for the leave it command to make it more effective.

Help to engage and manage your dogs nose. This will help you to become more in control when the dogs get on a scent and decide they are going to not listen to our verbal commands.

These sessions are 1.5 hours long to ensure we have enough time to work at a variety of stations. Numbers are also limited to ensure you are getting quality time with your trainer.

POSITIVE P.A.W.FORMANCE

These sessions are designed to work specifically on the following:

Help to engage your pups focus and to maintain it, no matter what distractions come along.

Help to improve your relationship with your dog when outside, helping to make your partnership even stronger.

We teach you skills to work with your dog’s nose, rather than against it.

Help develop the importance of returning to you from a play situation or other distraction.

Help your dog to disengage from birds, people, other dogs, kids playing, traffic passing by and anything else they may find distracting.

These sessions are 1.5 hours and spaces are limited to ensure you have quality time with your trainer to ask any questions.

PUPS & PINTS

These sessions are designed to be as natural as possible, the workshop will be held at a local pub and is to help your dogs get used to going into a public placesuch as a pub or cafe and be able to settle and sit calmly whilst you enjoy a drink.

The trainers will give you support and guidance on methods to help keep your dog calm in a rather usually stimulating environment.

We specifically use pubs that have a large outside space so if at any point it becomes too much, we have areas and space where we can go to give your dog a break.

These workshops are for 1 hour and spaces are limited to ensure you receive quality time with one of our trainers.

GUN DOG WORKSHOP

These workshops are designed to start to begin confidence building and control when sending your dogs to hunt through hedges, tress, woods/belts to flush out dummies.

For these sessions your dog will need an element of control off the lead to attend these sessions. (We do offer Junior Gun Dog workshops for those who still require the use of a longline).

During the workshop we will also cover loose lead/off lead walking, steadiness, stops and recalls.

WATER WORKSHOP

Our water workshops are only held weather permitting during the spring/summer. These sessions are held off site and are always hugely popular with our gun dog clients.

These sessions include a 15-minute walk to the designated water area we use. During this walk up we will focus on loose lead walking and the dogs focusing on the handler whilst walking in close proximity to other dogs.

The aim of these sessions is to get the dogs confident in the water. As well as being comfortable with entering and exiting the water.

Once they become confident, we then begin to add in things such as water retrieves, including a running start or them jumping off the ledge.
