🐾BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS🐾
Specialist support for dogs struggling with behaviour challenges
Do you have a reactive dog and dread those daily walks?
🐶 Are you worried about what might be coming around the next corner?
🐶 Has your dog had a negative experience and now feels anxious around dogs or people?
🐶 Does your dog chase, bark at, or lunge towards traffic, joggers, or cyclists?
🐶 Have neighbours complained that your dog howls or becomes distressed when left alone?
🐶 Have you noticed a sudden change in your dog’s behaviour?
If you answered yes to any of the above, please know there is hope. We can help you and your dog work through these worries and challenges.
How Our Behaviour Consultations Work
All consultations are held with one of our experienced behaviourists.
🔹 Initial 1.5 Hour Consultation
We take the time to discuss in depth the issues you are experiencing, your dog’s history, and importantly why your dog may feel the need to behave this way.
🔹 Personalised Rehabilitation Programme
Following the consultation, we will create a tailored plan to support both you and your dog. This usually includes further 1 hour 1-2-1 sessions focused on behaviour modification and practical management strategies.
Common Issues We Help With:
✅ Reactivity towards dogs
✅ Fear or anxiety around people
✅ Chasing vehicles, joggers or cyclists
✅ Separation-related distress
✅ Barking and lunging behaviours
✅ Confidence issues
✅ Stress-based behaviours
✅ General behaviour changes
🐶 Working With Stooge Dogs
As part of the rehabilitation programme, we may assess your dog’s reactions using one of our calm, controlled stooge dogs.
Please don’t worry – all work is carried out at a safe distance, with stooge dogs fully under control and on lead. This helps us to:
✔ Observe your dog’s reactions safely
✔ Assess body language and communication signals
✔ Understand triggers and thresholds
✔ Build a structured training plan for progress
💬 Kind, Understanding Support
We know how isolating and stressful behaviour struggles can feel. Our aim is to help both you and your dog feel calmer, more confident, and better equipped to handle everyday life.
Experienced Behaviourists. Reward-Based Methods. Real Progress.
You don’t have to face it alone – let us help guide you and your dog forward.
