PUPPY HOME VISITS
If you have just got a puppy and want some reassurance that the home set-up is right, or you have some questions you want answered, or just want some support in those first few weeks of being a puppy owner. A Puppy Home Visit may be just what you are looking for. We can make the first few days and weeks of having your new puppy home as stress free as possible, giving you the chance to have quality, rewarding time with your puppy as you get to know each other. We offer a 1.5-hour specialised visit to your home to ensure that your puppy gets the best start to settling into their new home environment and family.
We cover all the important elements from the initial journey home to feeding, toileting, building a strong bond and giving you the tools and more importantly the confidence to look after them. Since we conduct these in your house and garden, we can advise you specifically about puppy proofing these areas. Our aim is to ensure that all family members are involved with the puppy’s training which can start as soon as they arrive home in a gentle, positive, reward-based manner.
We offer Puppy Home Visits as a stand-alone service, or you can book one as part of our amazing Puppy Packages we offer. Which include a variety of options to suit every owner and pup.
BOOTCAMPS
DO YOU FIND IT HARD TO FIND THE TIME TO
TRAIN YOUR DOG?
Don’t panic! The bootcamps we offer mean you can leave all the training up to us!
Sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day is there? With all the will in the worldsometimes we just struggle to find the time to put in the much needed time to train our furry friends. Life just gets in the way through no fault of our own, but we are left feeling guilty because we have every intention to put in some training sessions, but before we know it another week has flown by!
This service is offered to any age dog that requires any of the following:
General obedience training
Socialising
Walking nicely on the lead whilst out and about
Requires additional recall training
Needs work around traffic
Gun dog training
Off lead walking/control up the fields and across the countryside
Some additioanl behavioural assistance around other dogs or people
Or if you would just simply like your dog to have some regular mental stimulation to empty those full buckets.
You can choose to either drop your dog off to us at the dog school or we can come to your home. Either way you will be assigned a qualified and experienced trainer or behaviourist to train your dog for a period of time suitable for your dogs age and requirements. You will have the comfort and assurance that your dog is getting exactly the correct training by a professional with a tailored programme set up between yourself and your trainer.
